Job summary

Tranquillity at Fredericktowne, part of Sonida Senior Living, in Frederick, MD, is seeking a Dining / Culinary Service Assistant. You will serve residents and guests in the dining room, assist in food preparation, and keep dining areas clean and organized to meet safety standards.

The role offers paid training, potential for a 401(k) with company match, and eligibility for health, dental, vision, and life/disability insurances. Prior experience in dining helpful, high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining/culinary service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks and replenishing stock items in common area refreshment centers for residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards to comply with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.

Dining / Culinary Service Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.

Qualifications:

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, Highschool Diploma or GED preferred
