Job summary

Kendal at Ithaca is seeking a Dining Attendant to deliver friendly service across multiple dining roles, including server and buffet assistance. The position supports residents in Health Services while ensuring dietary and therapeutic needs are met.

Dining Attendant Position

Rate of Pay: $19.12 - $20.57/hr, based on experience

Schedule:

Per-Diem Weekdays and hours vary based on department needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly and efficient service in a variety of roles, including server, buffet attendant, or dishwashing or serve residents in Health Services, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and therapeutic needs
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety guidelines (HACCP, NYS DOH)
• Cultivate a positive dining experience by providing attentive, courteous service
• Operate cash register as needed
