Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community in Waterloo, IA is seeking wait staff/dining associates for full- and part-time roles. You will serve meals, bus tables, deliver orders, and assist with other dining needs for residents, families, staff, and guests.

You’ll help keep the dining room neat and tidy, assist with dishwashing and light kitchen duties, and bring a friendly, guest‑oriented approach to every shift. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Applicants must pass pre-employment screenings (criminal background checks, abuse registry check, drug test, physical, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Serve food to residents, family members, staff and customers.
• Bus tables and deliver meals.
• Assist with dining room upkeep, dishwashing and other duties as assigned.
