The Dining Assistant (Server) at The Claiborne at Brickyard Crossing is responsible for supporting the dining services team to ensure residents receive high-quality meals and dining experiences. This is a full-time, hourly healthcare/medical position located in Summerville, SC. The Server collaborates with the dining team to provide exceptional service to residents.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in meal preparation and serving according to recipes and portion guidelines
2. Properly store, label, and rotate food items per safety regulations
3. Maintain a safe, clean dining environment, including sanitizing tables and washing dishes
4. Support residents with special diets as directed
5. Provide friendly, attentive service, responding promptly to residents' needs
6. Participate in ongoing training to improve skills
7. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic food prep and sanitation
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform demanding tasks
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
