Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout shift.
• Must comply with all facility health requirements and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to diet orders and portion guidelines.
• Deliver meal trays to residents and assist residents during dining when needed.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meal service.
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Label and store food properly following food safety standards.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and therapy staff to support resident needs.
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents, families, and staff.
