Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is seeking a 1st shift Dimensional Inspector to join our PSD team. You will inspect engine cases and components, ensuring conformance to prints and work instructions using gauges and calipers.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, US citizenship, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. The site operates Monday–Friday 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with comprehensive benefits and FAA safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect a variety of engine cases to verify conformance to specifications using prints, layouts, gauges and calipers.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections during receiving, in-process and final inspections and report discrepancies.
• Work with engineering specifications, industry standards and customer requirements.
• Use scribes, verniers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, micrometers and indicators.

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 1st shift Dimensional Inspector. Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 6:30 am- 3:00 pm This site employs 158. Pratt & Whitney PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components.

What You Will Do:

• This position is responsible for processing and inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.
• Performing visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections and reporting any discrepancies found during the inspection process.
• Working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
• Performing work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and indicators.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be a United States Citizen due to government contracts.

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
