Dimensional Control Engineer Exteriors

Job Summary:

Our client in Troy, MI is seeking a Dimensional Control Engineer Exteriors for a contract position.

What you will do:

• Develop, design, and execute all aspects of dimensional control, collaborating with Product Engineering and Manufacturing/Operations teams to establish a comprehensive strategy across product, subassembly, component, and process levels.
• Contribute to shaping the future of electric mobility through innovative dimensional control solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Datum and Dimensional Control Strategy.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to execute strategies and meet GD&T requirements.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure program timing, performance, and budget adherence.
• Develop production processes, including product requirements, tooling specifications, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Address inquiries from the executive and internal teams to find enterprise-wide solutions.
