Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is hiring a Dimension Control Technician 3/4 on B Shift: Mon-Thu 4:00pm–2:30am, based in Clearfield, UT. You will join the Tool Die Making team and handle complex jigs, fixtures and gauging with tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tool building, laser tracking, and will communicate effectively across teams. A U.S. Government clearance and SAP eligibility are required; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant tool building and laser tracking experience.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government clearance and SAP clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience with reference systems and working build models.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble jigs, fixtures and tooling with tight tolerances.
• Plan work from tool design drawings and own designs; determine sequence of operations.
• Set up and operate optical instruments to check alignment and fit.
• Develop holding devices and fixture details; prepare shop drawings.
• Monitor quality per statistical process controls where applicable.
