Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform radiological exams and operate portable digital X-ray equipment inside a secure facility. You will securely transmit images to radiologists and help maintain records, while upholding strict safety and confidentiality standards.

The ideal candidate has an accredited associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, a valid driver's license, and is at least 18 years old. This role requires on-site work within Minnesota facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have completed an accredited associate degree program.
• Must have passed the national ARRT certification exam.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age: at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site radiological examinations as required by proper authority.
• Operate portable digital X-ray equipment to image in secure settings.
• Transmit digital images securely to radiologists for interpretation.
• Transport imaging units within the facility while following safety protocols.
• Maintain clean equipment and work areas with proper sanitation.
• Ensure prompt interpretation of x-rays in emergencies or as needed.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of medical records and logs.
