Moody's is seeking a Digital Workplace Operations Summer Intern to help accelerate AI-enabled automation and reporting across the digital workplace. You will design, test, and support automation scripts and dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.

The internship runs for 10 weeks in the summer, with hands-on mentorship and exposure to enterprise engineering practices.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, AI or related field.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
  • Ability to work during the full internship program from June 7 - August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Support artificial intelligence, automation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives across Digital Workplace Operations.
  • Design, develop, test, and support automation solutions, agents, and scripts for operational tasks.
  • Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
  • Support Microsoft Copilot and other AI adoption initiatives across the organization.
  • Build dashboards and reports that help teams monitor operational performance, project progress, and key trends.
  • Document processes, technical solutions, and operating procedures to support team knowledge sharing.
  • Research emerging AI and automation technologies and share relevant findings with the team.
  • Contribute to operational improvement projects while learning enterprise engineering practices and tools.

Skills and Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, Power Automate, or Python
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and services
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous academic, personal, or internship experience with artificial intelligence or automation projects is preferred

Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

About the Team

The Digital Workplace Operations team provides continuous, year-round global operational support for the digital workplace platforms used by Moody’s employees. The team supports reliable workplace technology, drives operational improvements, and helps advance the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence and automation across the organization. By joining the team, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise technology initiatives, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to projects that improve processes and the employee experience.

Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June - August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
