Email is a critical component of our business operations, and we are seeking a team member responsible for overseeing all aspects of the email infrastructure. This includes designing and implementing highly available systems and serving as the final escalation point for business-critical issues.

The Workplace Applications Engineering team manages a broad range of products used company-wide. Email is vital for our operations, and we need someone to oversee the email infrastructure, from system design to escalation support.

How will you fulfill your potential?

1. Engineer and implement solutions in coordination with global, cross-functional teams.
2. Assist during incidents and act as an escalation point for support teams.
3. Be on-call 12x7, once a quarter (schedule subject to change).

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an infrastructure engineer or in an operations role within an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Microsoft and/or Linux servers and services.
• Experience with Proofpoint Protection Server, Sendmail, or similar open source software.
• Moderate or higher development experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with git workflows and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of modern networking technologies.
• Strong communication, transparency, and ownership skills.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with change and incident management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern Microsoft Exchange versions.
• Experience integrating M365 offerings into complex environments.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention solutions like Microsoft Purview.
• Experience with system automation.
• Experience working in large, regulated organizations.
