We’re seeking a highly skilled Digital Workplace Engineer IV to join our End User Computing (EUC) Engineering team, specializing in Mac and Mobile Engineering and Systems Administration. This role focuses on designing, integrating, and supporting enterprise-grade solutions to ensure stable, reliable, and productive user experiences across macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. As a Digital Workplace Engineer IV, you’ll lead projects, drive automation, and optimize the performance of our digital workplace technologies. Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain macOS, iOS, and Android environments, including device configuration, patch management, and lifecycle standardization from onboarding to retirement.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Implement, maintain, and optimize MDM profiles for macOS and mobile devices using tools like Jamf Cloud, WorkspaceOne, or Intune.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or other languages to streamline endpoint management and enhance user experience with minimal disruption.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth performance analysis of macOS and mobile applications to identify bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency.
  • Security Implementation: Apply industry best practices (e.g., CIS benchmarks) to secure Mac and mobile platforms, leveraging endpoint detection and response tools (e.g., Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, Lookout).
  • Digital User Experience (DEX): Use DEX tooling to monitor and improve user experiences across Mac and mobile devices, aligning with business objectives.
  • Technology Lifecycle Management: Oversee the cradle-to-grave lifecycle of Mac and mobile devices, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and secure offboarding.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Mac and mobile solutions with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Webex).
  • Innovation and Strategy: Experiment with new tools and methodologies to drive innovation and contribute to technology roadmaps.
  • Mentorship: Guide team members to build technical capabilities and foster continuous improvement.
  • Vendor and Service Management: Handle vendor relationships, licenses, and service processes (incident, problem, and change management) to ensure operational excellence.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system architectures, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Technical Skills
  • Operating Environments: Expertise in macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows environments.
  • MDM/MAM/DDM Solutions: Advanced knowledge of Mobile Device Management, Mobile Application Management, and Device Data Management solutions (e.g., Jamf Cloud, WorkspaceOne, Intune).
  • Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and API integration for endpoint automation and testing.
  • Productivity Tools: Strong understanding of integration with tools like Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and AI-driven platforms.
  • Systems Management Tools: Experience with Jamf Cloud, SCCM/MCM, WorkspaceOne, or Intune for device management and software delivery.
  • Security Best Practices: Expertise in securing Mac and mobile platforms, including Endpoint Detection and Response (e.g., Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender) and Privileged Access Management.
  • Network Configuration: Familiarity with TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, and virtual networks.
  • Data Analytics: Proficiency in root cause analysis and performance monitoring using tools like Windows Performance Analyzer, Procmon, or macOS-specific diagnostics.
  • Technology Lifecycle Management: Experience managing the full lifecycle of Mac and mobile devices, from standardization to secure retirement.
  • Community Engagement: Active participation in Mac and mobile communities (e.g., Mac Admins, Jamf Nation, Android Enterprise Community) to stay current on trends and best practices.
  • DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps practices for Mac, iOS, and Android is a plus.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 6+ years in End User Computing with a focus on Mac and mobile engineering, systems administration, and operational support.
  • Education: A four-year degree is preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the financial industry is desired but not required.
  • Time Management: Self-driven with excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities autonomously.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $153,965-$246,344

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $126,573-$202,517

New York Base Salary Range: $163,212-$261,139

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
