Stellantis in Auburn Hills seeks an Engineer for Vehicle Dynamics Digital Development to plan and execute activities for Advanced Vehicle Programs, ensuring ride, handling, and steering targets. You will work with Vehicle Dynamics Test Engineers, Vehicle Development, Chassis Component Engineers, NVH and Durability teams.
The role requires 5+ years in vehicle dynamics or chassis design, strong modeling skills, and experience with ADAMS Car, CarSim, MATLAB, and Teamcenter.
The Engineer for Vehicle Dynamics Digital Development is responsible for Planning and executing activities to support Advanced Vehicle Programs with component and sub system specifications to meet full vehicle performance targets for Ride, Handling and Steering. The selected candidate will be integral with the Program team working with Vehicle Dynamics Test Engineers, Vehicle Development, Chassis Component Engineers, NVH and Durability. Off-line Simulation assessments, followed by recommending countermeasures supported by Virtual Validation with correlated models. HIL/SIL integration as needed supporting vehicle tuning.
