ProSidian seeks a Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] to support an engagement for a training directorate of the USG that supports training and readiness of active and reserve military personnel through planning, facilitating, managing, recording, and assessing training OBO The Training Management Directorate (TMD). This DoD/Military Sector Role is a W-2 Employee Labor Category Position located at or near Charlotte, NC - CONUS | AC/RC: RC | ACOM: USARC.

The Digital Training Facility (DTF) is a computer lab located on Army installations and Reserve sites worldwide. The DTFM provides management and oversight at/for the assigned DTF. Units use DTFs to conduct training that improves individual and unit readiness.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Supports oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.
  • Coordinating facility maintenance and interacting with Enterprise Management System (EMS) Technicians.
  • Adherence with EMS direction to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers as well as verify operation of hardware and software in the DTFs.
  • Maintenance of facility security, operating equipment, and assisting students in using assets provided in DTFs.
  • Monitoring and reporting the condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture at their site locations.
  • Partners with other appropriate entities to create secure lab environments.
  • Performing with hands-on equipment, operation, and on-site operations.
  • Provides appropriate metrics and reports to designated management, section leadership, and stakeholder staff.
  • Provides server and application support and maintenance.
  • Reporting the operational status of the DTF(s) to the appropriate chain of command.
  • Scheduling the use of their respective DTFs as well as providing hands-on assistance to the Product Manager (PdM) Army Training Information System (ATIS) and EMS staff.
  • Scheduling training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).

Experience:

  • 5 years of management experience within the realm of IT support and/or management (Required).
  • The ability to analyze and evaluate trainees in order to summarize, forecast, and identify requirements.
  • The ability to communicate orally and in writing to inquire about, coordinate, and schedule training sessions.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree (preferably computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering or related).
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the USG’s designated Security Office.

Given the nature of this requirement, all personnel is expected to hold a Secret Security Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). ProSidian Consulting shall establish processes to implement the ATIS-PdM-0000596, PdM ATIS Personnel Security, and other Standard Operating Procedures.
