RTX is seeking a motivated student to join the Pratt & Whitney Digital Technology internship program in East Hartford. You will collaborate with a Digital Technology team to deliver solutions for business, technology, and process projects.

The role covers areas such as Cybersecurity, Data Science, Enterprise Systems, Infrastructure, Product Management, Software Development, and User Experience Design. Excellent communication and a strong IT mindset are required.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or IT.
• Experience with data analytics or IT infrastructure.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

The Pratt and Whitney internship program provides valuable exposure to digital technology skills, disciplines, and functions.

What You Will Do

The candidate will work closely with a Digital Technology team to deliver real results in the areas of business, technology, and process/project management. The candidate will be responsible for delivering successful digital technology solutions for business‑critical projects in one of the following digital function areas:

• Cybersecurity & Risk Management
• Data Science & Analytics
• Enterprise Business Systems
• Infrastructure Services
• Product Management
• Software Development
• User Experience Design

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree program in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or other Information Technology concentration and actively enrolled through completion of the internship.
• Experience with data analytics or general IT infrastructure.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior RTX internship, co‑op, or work experience.
• Proactive and results‑driven individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative
• Preferred strong technical skills in design, development, big data/analytics, infrastructure, IT/Cybersecurity, etc.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
