Job summary

SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer - MBSE to support our Dayton Area Operation. You will accelerate your career within the defense community by applying MBSE to document requirements and develop complex system models.

Responsibilities include modeling with MBSE tools, coordinating with government partners, and advancing automation and digital thread initiatives. A technical degree with 2+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or social science with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some, you may still be considered.
• Experience with MBSE methods and systems engineering processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles, theories, and concepts related to digital system modeling.
• Use MBSE tools to document requirements, track performance metrics, manage processes, and develop models.
• Utilize Cameo to create detailed models integrating subsystem models.
• Support migration to SysML v2 as it evolves.
• Help develop automation capabilities and establish a digital thread.

• Salary: $800,000 - $125,000 Depending on Experience and Education
• Travel: 10%

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Digital Systems Engineer - MBSE

• Apply principles, theories, and concepts related to digital system modeling.
• Use MBSE tools to document program requirements, track performance metrics, manage systems engineering processes, and develop complex system models.
• Utilize tools such as Cameo to create detailed models that integrate subsystem models.
• Support eventual migration to SysML v2.
• Help develop automation capabilities and establish a digital thread.
• Collaborate with coworkers, customers, and government program partners.
• Provide managers with technical advice on creating and implementing new MBSE methods and techniques.
• Perform other systems engineering duties as assigned by the manager or their delegate.

Minimum Qualifications Of Digital Systems Engineer - MBSE

Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field of Study or social science and 2+ years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; is you possess some of the desired qualifications,

Desired Experience

• Strong analytical, inferential, critical-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with MBSE tools and languages
• OMG or INCOSE certification(s)
• Knowledge of and experience with digital engineering concepts, methodologies, and tools
• Experience integrating MBSE practices across multiple organizations
• Experience leading MBSE teams and directing development and implementation
• Strong coding and modeling skills applicable to data-set integration
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to small, dynamic teams and deliver products that exceed customer expectations
