A leading credit union in Tampa Bay is seeking a Digital Strategy Analyst to enhance digital performance through data analytics. Compensation: $62,000 - $92,000 based on experience and credentials

The Digital Strategy Analyst is responsible for leading the performance and business analytics for Digital Strategy, Digital Product, and Digital Fraud support. This individual leverages expertise and skills to provide value through the detailed development of reporting and data analysis. By identifying and collecting data and designing reports, the Analyst will recognize digital trends and build data-based recommendations to enhance or support business and strategic initiatives. The ideal incumbent will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in business analysis to support SCU's digital transformation and member omnichannel capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Digital Product Strategists, Owners, and Managers to identify efficient and effective methods for managing analysis and performance of digital products and key initiatives
• Provide support to the Digital Strategy team for data-driven decision making by utilizing comprehensive data insights and working with stakeholders to implement successful actions
• Gather and evaluate all data related to key performance indicators concerning SCU digital access, engagement, experience, and fraud tooling, tracking, trending, and patterns to present member data on dashboards in accordance with company standards and protocols
• Determine the core drivers of digital performance to formulate successful digital strategies for the growth of the credit union
• Utilize KPIs to collect and document strategic data and business requirements, providing root cause analysis, historical analysis, incident research, “what-if” analysis, usage and enrollment analysis, and monthly reporting
• Create and maintain reports using data services in an SQL environment
• Analyze, test, and verify complex data sets, identify trends and gaps in data and/or services, and present findings clearly for business unit support
• Address questions regarding data sources and integrity
• Employ various internal and external tools to support the Digital Strategy business units
• Identify reporting needs and write complex queries to extract information, trends, or patterns contained in the data and validate results
• Lead and manage implementation and adjustments to vendor platform parameters for business rules, workflows, and data collection
• Collaborate using innovative technology solutions to recommend improvements and procedures for streamlining and automating processes
• Maintain a fundamental understanding of end-to-end member experience and system integrations and dependencies
• Contribute to an efficient, positive, and professional team environment
• Collaborate with Suncoast Credit Union business units
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise
• Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
• Complete annual compliance and info security training to understand employees' role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field is preferred (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
• 3+ years of experience in report development, preferably with a financial institution
• Proficiency in SQL-based report creation tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Report Builder, and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
• Experience with dashboard development tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics, and SharePoint, as well as scripting and statistical platforms
• Proficient with crafting complex queries, views, and stored procedures to extract and analyze data from tables, ensuring accurate retrieval and application for report generation
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, including expertise in interpreting data, conducting root cause analysis, identifying trends, and transforming findings into actionable insights and solutions
• Broad technical understanding of product features, functionalities, architectures, and user needs, with the ability to effectively liaise within matrixed project teams, including third-party contributors
• Commitment to the ongoing skill development and timely completion of training while sharing expertise to benefit team success
• Demonstrated creative thinking, investigative curiosity, and decision-making abilities with a commitment to solving problems by connecting research and analytical outputs to strategic initiatives
• Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
• Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
• Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures
• Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties
