Overview

The Digital Store Systems Manager leads the development, implementation, enhancement, and operational support of the brand’s digital store systems and related technology solutions. This role oversees day‑to‑day platform ownership, operational execution, enhancement delivery, integration coordination, and ongoing optimization activities supporting store operations, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient technology experiences across the organization. The position is heavily focused on owning the technical and operational execution of customer‑facing digital platforms and integrated technology solutions while coordinating internal and external stakeholders, managing cross‑functional collaboration, and guiding the design, integration, implementation, and operational execution, enhancement, integration, and continuous improvement of operational technology solutions while ensuring alignment between business priorities, execution, and delivery outcomes.

This role contributes technical expertise, architectural guidance, operational insight, and platform recommendations to support system roadmap planning and execution by leveraging industry intelligence, operational insights, customer feedback, and business need to guide enhancements, redesigns, innovation initiatives, and operational improvements that support business outcomes for mobile, web, customer engagement and related digital platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and solution guidance to vendors and partners responsible for platform development, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Serve as the technical and operational owner for digital store systems and customer‑facing digital platforms, implementation, enhancement, integration, maintenance, and operational support of digital store systems and operational technology solutions.
  • Review and validate integration approaches, system workflows, API dependencies, and technical solution designs to ensure operational and architectural alignment.
  • Own and coordinate platform integration activities across digital ordering, loyalty, mobile, web, POS, customer engagement, and operational technology ecosystems.
  • Lead and coordinate digital store system initiatives, ensuring project milestones, timelines, resource coordination, budget alignment, and delivery expectations are successfully achieved.
  • Lead technical coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, technology teams, and operational leaders, while leading the design, development, implementation, enhancement, integration, and ongoing optimization of digital store systems and operational technology solutions.
  • Act as primary technical liaison between operations, technology teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure system initiatives align with business objectives, operational priorities, and user needs.
  • Own product lifecycle management activities for digital store systems, including enhancements, redesigns, integrations, operational improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate system architecture, performance, design feasibility, operational effectiveness, and enhancement opportunities to support scalable, reliable, and efficient technology solutions.
  • Lead cross‑functional execution activities related to system testing, deployment, implementation, maintenance, issue resolution, and operational support initiatives.
  • Identify system issues, operational challenges, and process gaps; support timely resolution and communicate risks, updates, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Analyze operational needs, customer feedback, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend system improvements and innovation opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, security protocols, operational procedures, accessibility, data privacy, and technology governance requirements across supported systems and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, training materials, and supporting resources to promote consistency, user adoption, and operational effectiveness.
  • Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement through effective stakeholder coordination, system optimization, and execution of strategic technology initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or a related field required, comparable years of related experience considered.
  • 5+ years’ managerial/supervisory experience leading Helpdesk/Support Teams required.
  • 5+ years’ IT Project experience as project resource or lead required.
  • 5+ years’ Experience supporting Food Service/Retail environment.
  • Expert Technical knowledge of store‑level software, hardware, support, and deployment practices.
  • Experience leading large‑scale deployments of computer software, hardware, and services.
  • Experience in a Franchise‑based system, a plus.
  • Personal passion for health and fitness is a plus.
