Job summary

Eatons North America Sales division seeks a Digital Solutions Sales Specialist (DS3) to drive growth in digital power management and controls solutions in the West region. The role blends sales and technical leadership, delivering DIS and PSC integrated solutions, including power monitoring, analytics, and cybersecurity.

This remote position requires residence within 75 miles of San Diego, Los Angeles, or Hayward, CA, and involves travel up to 50% for meetings, site walks, and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years in a commercial role (sales, product management, business development) or similar.
• Experience with Digital monitoring, Controls Automation and Communications.
• Knowledge of energy monitoring and energy management software, BAS, OT Cybersecurity, and distribution products.

Responsibilities

• Own territory sales performance and drive bookings, margin, and win rate.
• Build and advance a high-quality pipeline across Commercial/Institutional, Industrial, and Government segments.
• Lead proposal development and commercial negotiations with cross-functional teams to convert pipeline to orders.
• Conduct site walks and capture VOC to develop a compelling value proposition.
• Drive specification influence and solution adoption across enterprise resources and end users.
• Develop and grow strategic accounts with multi-level relationships.
