Position Summary

The Digital Solutions Manager is responsible for driving business growth by engaging with new and existing customers. This role involves sales (business solutions) for Software and Digital scope across North America and supporting global sales efforts. The individual will leverage strong sales and negotiation skills to build relationships with clients, identify their needs, and propose tailored software solutions for airport and airline digital platforms & media. Regular meetings and presentations will be used to showcase the value of digital solutions, close deals, and contribute to company success. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, providing excellent after-sales support, and staying informed on market trends and competitors.

Essential Functions

• Maintain positive, long-term relationships with executive leadership, support leadership, field leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with airports, manage digital solutions including Sym3, BRS, Self Service Technologies (CUSS), FIDS/AODB, and digital media, collaborating with DOC Business Solutions Managers.
• Stay current on DOC software solutions, IT hardware (servers, virtualization, networks), and database solutions.
• Build business partnerships with current customers and explore new opportunities in airport digital transformation.
• Engage actively with customers and stakeholders for feedback and opportunities.
• Support the development and growth of Airport Digital roadmap, strategy, and modernization market.
• Motivate team members to promote trust, challenge the status quo, and deliver service excellence.
• Contribute to developing sales strategies to win business.
• Lead digital bid/proposal activities, including technical writing, RFP management, and final document production.
• Deliver presentations to customers and management.
• Monitor procurement websites for digital opportunities.
• Respond to customer inquiries and support trade show activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of self-service & digital aviation markets (e.g., CUSS, AODB, FIDS, BRS).
• Understanding of IT solutions, including cloud, OS, cybersecurity, and databases.
• Knowledge of software development processes.
• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient with CRM solutions.
• Understanding of IT project management and ITIL Framework.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years in Aviation IT, focusing on baggage or passenger experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Digital Media, or related fields.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
