About the Role
The Digital Solutions Director will help define and drive the execution of scaling out Nanosonics connected solutions strategy. In this role, the Digital Solutions Director will work with the North America commercial team to identify existing users of trophon high-level disinfection technology and present the features and benefits of our growing connected portfolio. This role will also interact heavily with Nanosonics global and regional marketing resources to plan and support messaging to drive lead generation at various industry events, including tradeshows, regional professional events, internal sales meetings, and distributor coordinated meetings.
Primary Objectives
- Leads the company’s efforts to manage complex opportunities involving connected solutions offering and the trophon and Coris ecosystem.
- Field subject matter expert in connected devices into radiology and minimally invasive surgical workflows.
- Partner with field sales, leadership team, marketing, clinical, and service to increase sales, and uncover post-trophon sale connectivity opportunities.
- Participate in IDN, hospital and large clinic opportunities and move opportunities forward to successful completion.
- Involved at pre-sales level to provide enhanced level of technical and professional expertise to selling connected device solutions.
- Qualify business opportunities and present/demonstrate our products to end user customers.
- Support the negotiation, quoting and closing of sales specifically regarding IDN, Enterprise and National Accounts.
- Support Account Managers as customer point of contact for data integration, thoroughly understand customers’ workflow, internal systems and desired integration requirements and turning those into technical specifications.
- In conjunction with Sydney HQ, provide input to the technical roadmap provide input to the execution plan. Lead the effort to implement, test, and deploy customer data integration projects in the Americas.
- Supports the company products and services while assisting the customer account planning cycle and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.
- Focuses on the headquarters and key IDN target locations of assigned accounts, while coordinating closely with field associates (PODs) assigned to these customers’ other locations.
- Enlists the support of Account Managers, Clinical Applications resources, solutions architects, Inside Sales, Service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
- Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.
- Works closely with Marketing teams to ensure collaboration across all Segments.
- Support Pod teams to increase sales productivity and profitability.

- Suggest innovative ways of increasing customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in IT, computers or other relevant experience.
- Minimum seven years selling complex systems and connected solutions as well as knowledge of Hospital networks, EMRs and cloud data transfer.
- Familiarity with common hospital communication protocols, including DICOM and HL7.
- Experience with imaging modalities, RIS, and PACS systems.
- Able to interact at a high level in terms of technical capabilities with end-user-customers, IT professionals, clinical experts, and Hospital EMR partners.
- Strong project management, presentation, and sales skills.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Infection Prevention knowledge and understanding a plus.

Pay range and compensation package
Annual salary range is $170,000 to $185,000 USD based on experience, with an opportunity for annual bonus.
