• Job Title: Digital Solutions Architect- GeoSCADA
• Contract: 6 months with strong potential of extension to be longer
• Location: This is remote but they will need to be able to support working on EST or CST time zones from wherever they live.
• MUST HAVE: GeoSCADA and architecture experience, this is a SENIOR role
• We are seeking a talented Digital Solutions Architect to join our team and take charge of designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge industrial automation software solutions. As a Digital Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for creating robust and scalable software architectures that meet the specific needs of our clients and drive innovation in the industrial automation space.
• The ideal candidate is familiar with systems integration using a variety of technologies. It is not expected that they will have experience with all of them. A motivated and self-driven candidate with a background in a variety of industrial automation technologies will be the best fit. Innovative technologies may emerge as the Client and AVEVA software portfolios continue to grow.
• Design and develop SCADA systems using various software suites, including Client Geo SCADA, AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform, AVEVA (Wonderware) Historian, AVEVA (OSI) PI, Ignition SCADA, etc.
• Configure and program SCADA software to monitor and control various industrial processes, such as manufacturing, energy, mining, and utilities.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and develop solutions that align with their needs.
• Lead a project team consisting of multiple engineering members of the Digital Solutions team, breaking down high level deliverables into work tasks and ensuring these deliverables meet quality standards.
• Mentor and coach other engineering members for the Digital Solutions team.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA software and related components such as PLCs, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.
• Integrate SCADA systems with historians (e.g., AVEVA PI, AVEVA Historian) for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting purposes.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure the accurate functioning of SCADA systems, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications, adhering to industry best practices and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
