Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems is seeking a Digital Delivery Manager to lead the Product Delivery organization and drive delivery excellence for the Digital portfolio. You will lead Product Owners and Scrum Masters, align priorities with the product roadmap, and remove execution barriers to enable successful delivery of digital products and platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience leading software, digital product, program, project, or delivery teams.
• 1+ year of people leadership experience, including performance management, coaching, and employee development.
• Experience developing medical device software and/or supporting medical device software development teams using Agile/Scrum
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
• Experience across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience identifying, managing, and resolving delivery risks and dependencies.
• Excellent facilitation, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Digital Delivery Manager leads the Product Delivery organization and is accountable for delivery excellence across Inspire’s Digital portfolio. This role provides people and functional leadership for Product Owners and Scrum Masters while driving effective planning, execution, coordination, and transparency across digital product teams.

The Digital Delivery Manager partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and business stakeholders to translate approved product priorities into executable plans, improve delivery effectiveness, remove execution barriers, and enable successful delivery of strategic business commitments. This position combines people leadership, delivery oversight, and operational excellence to support the successful delivery of Digital products and platforms.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Delivery Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Product Owners and Scrum Masters across the Digital organization.
• Establish standards, expectations, and best practices for Product Ownership and Agile delivery.
• Conduct hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning activities.
• Foster a high-performing product delivery organization focused on collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer value.
• Ensure consistent approaches to backlog management, planning, prioritization, team execution, and stakeholder engagement.
• Build and sustain communities of practice that encourage sharing of best practices and continuous learning.
• Support Product Owners and Scrum Masters in resolving team-level and cross-functional delivery challenges.
• Partner with Digital leadership to define career paths, competencies, and development plans for Product Owners and Scrum Masters.

Delivery Oversight

• Facilitate planning activities that align approved product priorities with team capacity, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery practices to strengthen predictability, quality, efficiency, and team effectiveness.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and sequencing of work across multiple product teams.
• Escalate and drive resolution of delivery impediments requiring organizational support.
• Support delivery forecasting and planning activities to improve predictability and transparency.
• Promote alignment across teams working toward common product, platform, and business objectives.
• Define, establish, and monitor delivery performance indicators and operational metrics.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering leadership to improve planning and execution practices.
• Support alignment with quality systems, compliance requirements, and regulatory processes throughout product development activities.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Partner with Product Managers to translate strategic priorities into executable plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers to support planning, capacity considerations, and delivery risk management.
• Work closely with Architecture, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Operations, and business stakeholders to facilitate successful execution.
• Communicate delivery status, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support alignment between technical teams and business priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.

Required Experience:

• 6+ years of experience leading software, digital product, program, project, or delivery teams.
• 1+ year(s) of people leadership experience, including performance management, coaching, and employee development.
• Experience developing medical device software and/or supporting medical device software development teams using Agile / Scrum
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
• Strong experience working across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience identifying, managing, and resolving delivery risks and dependencies.
• Excellent facilitation, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience managing Product Owners, Scrum Masters, or similar delivery-focused roles.
• Experience working in healthcare, medical device, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting software products subject to quality and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with Agile planning and work management tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Formal Agile training and/or Agile certification.

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

$110,000 - $150,000 USD
