Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Digital Scientist for our Princeton, NJ site to design, build and scale digital tools that accelerate consumer research and lab operations. This onsite role will apply data science, analytics and AI-enabled solutions across cross-functional teams, with limited travel.

You will develop dashboards, data pipelines and predictive models, collaborating with laboratory, IT and R&D colleagues to deliver measurable impact and responsible AI governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as CS/DS/IS/Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with digital tools, analytics, automation or AI tech.
• Proficiency in Python, R or SQL for data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards and data models.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and Copilot.
• Cloud platform familiarity (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Version control with Git/GitHub.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Power Apps/Power Automate) and AI agent concepts.
• Understanding of data architecture (lakes, APIs, structured/unstructured data).
• Ability to solve problems, work with limited guidance, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong collaboration, documentation and continuous improvement skills.
• Commitment to data quality, traceability and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex projects to improve how consumer research, lab and project data are captured and used for decision-making.
• Design, build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual analytics tools (Power BI).
• Develop data pipelines, templates and data models for quality and AI readiness across systems.
• Apply data science, statistics and digital tech to build predictive/classification models.
• Translate analytical outputs into actionable recommendations for scientists and leaders.
• Build and deploy AI-enabled workflows and automation, including Copilot agents and Power Automate.
• Maintain intake workflows, evaluation criteria and solution inventories aligned with standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify use cases, define requirements and troubleshoot.
• Digitize product screening and performance evaluation methods and reporting outputs.
• Contribute to project planning, testing, deployment and adoption with limited guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows and data practices.
