Job summary

Phoenix Indian Medical Center seeks a Diagnostic Radiology Technician to perform digital radiology exams, operate Shimadzu and Canon DR systems, and support patient care within a 24/7 hospital imaging department.

The role requires ARRT and BLS certifications, one year of radiology experience, and adherence to cultural sensitivity standards while providing imaging services to Native American communities. Training and orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Radiology Educational Program.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology (Digital Radiology).
• Current ARRT certification in Radiology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Image Gently and Image Wisely training preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted state license.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital radiology, C-ARM, and fluoroscopy equipment (Shimadzu and Canon DR system).
• Perform a range of digital radiology exams as requested by medical staff.
• Adhere to cultural sensitivities while serving Native American patients.
• Work independently to perform imaging procedures.
• Be available beyond scheduled hours in emergencies.
• Complete PIMC mandatory training monthly or as required.
• Carry out additional assignments as directed by the Radiology Department Supervisor or COR.
• Provide on-site coverage only.
• Attend orientation and comply with immunization requirements before start.
