Job summary

NHS 24 is seeking an experienced psychological therapist to deliver digitally enabled, evidence-based therapies to adults with mild to moderate health difficulties. The role is based at Cardonald Regional Centre, primarily telephone-based with potential for video and group sessions.

You will manage a personal caseload, maintain clinical records, and contribute to training, supervision and service evaluation within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MSc in Applied Psychology and SCQF Level 11; practitioners must work within the CAAP framework.
• Experience delivering digital therapies and psycho-educational materials to patients.
• Ability to work with a range of mental health presentations including mild-to-moderate conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate therapeutic interventions and track change over treatment time across multiple dimensions.
• Maintain proficiency in psychological assessment tools and apply them to clinical case management.
• Communicate formulations and psychological understanding to referrers, patients and involved disciplines.
• Develop formulations using established measures and digital delivery; include self-motivating strategies for clients.
