The Role

We are looking for someone with clinical experience and a digital mindset. Someone who can apply real prosthetic knowledge to the way sockets are shaped, but who also wants to rethink how that work gets done.

This role will likely start at 5 to 10 hours per week. We are seeking someone excited about the mission and eager to build innovative solutions, rather than tracking hours. You’ll join a small team and help create something new and impactful.

Responsibilities

• Review and modify 3D scan files (STL) to create functional check sockets
• Translate manual socket modification techniques into repeatable digital steps
• Define and test early logic that may support software automation
• Collaborate on development of internal digital tools
• Assist or work alongside a future software development team
• Provide clinical feedback on fit, workflow, and model quality

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience in prosthetic socket fitting or modification (CPO, technician, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with digital tools like Meshmixer, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar
• Comfort working with STL files or 3D limb scans
• Ability to communicate effectively across clinical and engineering teams
• Comfort working independently in an early-stage environment
• Bonus: experience with digital socket workflows or involvement in shaping such processes
