Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and talented Digital Production Designer who’s excited about honing their skills as part of an in-house creative team. You attend to details by nature, which is great because details matter to us. You demonstrate the ability to think critically about your assignments and are excited to bring that to bear on digital production design. It’s important that you love playing a supporting role and care deeply about seeing the many manifestations of a big idea conceived by someone else come to life.

Your portfolio shows your versatility and your skills. We understand that you haven’t had opportunities to take the lead on flashy campaigns for big brands. That’s okay because even your most modest work demonstrates that you understand and are passionate about the fundamentals of design. You take time to think through composition, typography, and clear communication. You recognize the contours of a brand and a template, and you know how to work consistently within them.

You have experience working as part of a team (internships and freelance projects count, too), and you’re excited about being part of ours. That excitement is fueled by your desire to do great work and by your love of Jesus Christ and His kingdom.

Duties and responsibilities

• Take established creative concepts and design production-ready image assets for web, email, paid marketing, blog, social, slide decks, and other digital communication for Ligonier’s various channels.
• Adhere to brand and style guidelines when producing digital content and highlight instances where standards are violated.
• Embrace an iterative design process and be receptive to feedback throughout the process.
• Adhere to file naming and organization conventions.
• Stay abreast of trends and updates in relevant design and marketing fields.

Position Qualifications:

• Degree in digital media, graphic design, web design or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience (or equivalent) in digital design.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Demonstrated aptitude for design, particularly with layout and composition.
• Adobe Photoshop skills for digital graphics production.
• Familiarity with task management suites, such as Airtable, Asana, Basecamp, ClickUp, Jira, Monday, Omnifocus, Teamwork, Todoist, Wrike, or similar solutions.
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Agreement with the Ligonier Ministries General Statement of Faith.
• Agreement with the Ligonier Ministries Standards of Conduct.
• Meet the attendance requirements of the position.
• May be required to attend conferences and events.
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand and marketing experience across digital mediums.
• A cover letter is preferred.

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $28.00 per hour. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
