Job summary

The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) is seeking a highly organized Digital Producer to support our digital storytelling and content operations. You will translate strategic priorities into structured digital plans working with the Digital Marketing Lead.

Responsibilities include managing HRF’s digital content calendar, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring timely publication across social media, email, and web channels, with clear workflows and approvals.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in marketing, communications, social media, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management to handle timelines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to synthesize input into clear, actionable plans.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Experience managing content calendars or approval workflows is preferred.
  • Experience with events, conferences, or live programming is a plus.
  • Nonprofit, media, or advocacy experience is a plus.
  • Interest in human rights and HRF’s mission strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day digital execution for HRF and OFF digital channels, ensuring campaigns are planned, coordinated, and delivered on time.
  • Own and manage the HRF and OFF digital content calendar, aligning timelines with program milestones and key moments.
  • Coordinate with program teams to translate inputs into structured digital plans and timelines.
  • Support broader HRF digital efforts, ensuring alignment across priorities.
  • Serve as a liaison between program teams and creative partners on messaging and deliverables.
  • Coordinate content production workflows and ensure outputs meet campaign objectives.
  • Manage internal review and approvals processes and track revisions.
  • Support multi-channel campaigns by organizing deliverables and deadlines across teams.
  • Lead distribution of social video, including clipping highlights from events.
  • Assist in tracking campaign performance and compiling optimization reports.
  • Manage and update website content using CMS platforms without coding.
  • Maintain the organization’s photo archive with proper metadata.
  • Ensure all content aligns with HRF’s brand voice and priorities.

Job Overview

The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Producer to support the execution of the organization’s digital storytelling and content operations. This role will work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to translate strategic priorities into structured, actionable digital plans.

The Digital Producer will play a central role in managing HRF’s digital content calendar, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring the smooth execution of campaigns across social media, email, and web channels. This role focuses on guiding workflow, aligning stakeholders, coordinating approvals, and supporting the timely and accurate publication of digital content.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:

  • The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and project manager who is comfortable working across teams and can bring clarity and organization to complex, fast-moving initiatives.
  • Lead day-to-day digital execution for HRF and Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) digital channels, ensuring campaigns are planned, coordinated, and delivered on time across social media, email, and web channels.
  • Own and manage the HRF and OFF digital content calendar, aligning campaign timelines with program milestones, speaker announcements, and key moments leading up to and during the event.
  • Coordinate closely with OFF program teams to gather inputs on speakers, sessions, and initiatives, and translate them into structured digital plans and timelines.
  • Support broader HRF digital efforts, ensuring alignment across organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a liaison between program teams and creative partners to ensure alignment on messaging, timing, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate content production workflows by communicating strategic direction to designers, editors, and other creatives, and ensuring outputs meet campaign objectives.
  • Manage internal review and approval processes, including collecting feedback, tracking revisions, and ensuring all HRF and OFF-related content is approved prior to publication.
  • Support the execution of multi-channel campaigns by organizing deliverables, tracking dependencies, and ensuring deadlines are met across teams.
  • Take lead in distribution of social video, with particular focus on clipping highlights from HRF and partner events
  • Assist in tracking campaign performance and compiling reports to support ongoing optimization and learning.
  • Manage and update website content using CMS platforms, ensuring pages are accurately built, aligned with brand guidelines, and published on schedule without requiring coding expertise.
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s photo archive, ensuring assets are properly cataloged with accurate metadata, easily searchable, and accessible for cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure all digital content aligns with HRF’s brand voice, mission, and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into clear, actionable plans.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a generous benefits package that includes fully covered medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a flexible PTO plan and comprehensive company-paid holiday schedule; and many other voluntary benefits.
