Job summary

District Photo Inc. in Phoenix is seeking a Digital Printing Process Machinery Operator for the day shift to run and maintain binding equipment and ensure quality printed pages.

You will read work orders, adjust machines, monitor output, and collaborate with team on the floor. The position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and strong communication.
• Flexible to work any shift and overtime during peak season.
• Ability to operate and learn various machinery and related software.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery to cut, fold, glue, trim, bind, and finish the final printed product.
• Reads work orders and sets the machine in accordance with job specifications.
• Reviews job requirements to understand scope and parameters of project.
• Completes trial run and evaluates the quality and appearance of the product.
• Adjusts machinery as needed prior to starting the project.
• Informs supervisor of problems with equipment or materials.
• Maintain a clean area around machinery.
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various machinery and related software.
• Flexibility to work any shift; overtime during peak season.
