Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories in Hercules, CA is seeking a Print Services Technician II for a day shift on a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thu, 6:00am–4:30pm). The role requires hands-on experience with digital printing, measuring, cutting, booklet making, GUK or stall folder with right angle and vertical stacker.

You will operate high-speed copiers, coil binding machines and paper cutters, maintain equipment, and collaborate with internal teams to meet job specs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the digital print industry.
• Knowledge of print specifications for sheet fed and digital production processes.
• Knowledge of press operator and finishing operator functions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Accept, process and ship electronic jobs using electronic job submission software.
• Review job specifications to organize job sequence, paper selection and equipment setup.
• Operate and maintain multiple high-speed copying equipment.
• Operate coil binding, paper cutter and folder machines for high-quality finishing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and manage equipment inventories.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Produce high-quality work within deadlines.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Troubleshoot basic printing equipment systems.
