Alphagraphicsfranchise in New York City is seeking a Digital Print Production Operator to manage digital printing (B/W/Color) and deliver maximum production efficiency. You will calibrate printers to Pantone colors, run proofs, monitor color consistency, perform routine maintenance, and assist our large format department with vehicle graphics and wall mural projects when required.

• Digital printing experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and organize several activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Basic bindery functions possible.
• Familiar with Fiery Print Controller.
• Proficient with Command Workstation to control digital workflow.
• Graphic design skills are a plus.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital commercial printers (B/W/Color) using Fiery Command Workstation.
• Assist in large format department with installations and production work when available.
• Impose files for print and run USPS mail software.
• Prioritize and manage daily job production with Production Scheduler.
• Produce orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Update job status and location in MIS system.
• Run proofs and compare to work orders.
• Quality-check to minimize waste and reprints.
• Complete Quality Assurance documents for all prints.
• Track waste, spoilage, and inventory for printing machines.
• Maintain logs for all Digital Printing Equipment.
