Job summary

• Understand downstream finishing processes to optimize orders.
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools for precision plans.

Responsibilities

• Sets up digital printers per guidelines, safety, and job needs.
• Receives production orders from a supervisor.
• Validates work orders: material, quantity, size, graphics, color, text.
• Organizes jobs and filters printing sequence to optimize workflow.
• Monitors production rate, color density, print registration, and quality; adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoots problems and makes adjustments.
• Uses rulers, calipers, and magnifiers to measure requirements.
• Produces color-matched samples for customer approval.
• Maintains cleanliness of printer, workstation and area.
• May train others on printer operation.
• Performs other duties as required.
