Job summary

Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island, IL is seeking a Digital Press Operator I to set up and run digital print equipment, ensure quality results, and help maintain devices for smooth production. You will review orders, format files, monitor stock, and handle finishing knowledge within a safe work environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and prior digital printer experience is preferred; ability to learn press operation and lift truck is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, entry-level acceptable with willingness to learn.
• Experience with digital printers preferred.
• Ability to learn to operate digital press and lift truck.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders to determine proper setup and operating procedures for digital printers.
• Format or impose forms and electronic files for printing.
• Monitor paper stock usage and report inventory to supervisors.
• Order and maintain adequate supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of production finishing functions.
• Maintain serviceability of printers and perform routine maintenance.
• Obtain entry level knowledge to operate devices in the digital fleet.
• Ensure working areas and equipment are safe and compliant with procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in additional responsibilities as assigned.
