RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a printer operator for the first shift to manage production runs and ensure high-quality output. You will operate various printers, set up jobs, and monitor quality while maintaining logs and coordinating supplies.

Responsibilities include running RIP files, adjusting positioning, and releasing jobs from the queue. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
• Position is first shift
• May adjust image position, perforations and folds on paper.
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
• Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent.

are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications,

skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business

needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending

on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also includeovertime. RRD's benefit offerings include
