Job summary

RRD is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist in Lewisville, TX for 1st shift. You will RIP files, review job instructions, and prepare jobs for printing on Xerox equipment. Daily logs, setup and release of jobs, and quality monitoring are key parts of the role.

Qualifications include experience with Xerox equipment (6180, Nuvera, DP155/DP180, or 4635) and routine adjustments. Benefits and a comprehensive compensation package are offered.

Job Description

• RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing
• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests

• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items as needed

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment
• Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent
• 1-3 years experience working in a digital print environment operating Xerox digital printing equipment. Pay is based on experience.
• Prior experience with one or more of Xerox 6180, Xerox Nuvera, Xerox DP155, DP180 or 4635.

Additional Information

Thepay range for this role at the noted location is $17.50 - $22.60 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
