Job summary

Marking Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Imaging Technician to perform daily production activities in the Imaging Department, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role involves handling materials, printing digital imaged products, and maintaining accurate production paperwork. The candidate should have at least 1 year of digital print experience, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Graphix Advantage, and strong attention to color and design.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in print/graphics preferred.
• At least 1 year of digital print experience.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and/or Graphix Advantage required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and color/design sense.

Responsibilities

• Receive manufacturing orders and stock orders from production planning; verify orders and determine completeness.
• Move materials from Imaging to the next stage per Manufacturing Order.
• Complete required Manufacturing and Stock Order paperwork for quality requirements.
• Retrieve order files and manipulate layouts to print digital imaged products.
• Proofread signs and labels and conduct quality assurance for on-time delivery.
• Assist in training/new employees and support production team.
• Participate in weekly/monthly inventory counts and report quantities.
• Keep the production area clean and safe; follow safety protocols.
