The Opportunity

The Digital Print Associate will provide technical and functional support to our transaction card (Tcard) market through creating, transforming, and implementing solutions to specific business performance goals and needs. The Digital Print Associate is responsible for learning our customer’s specifications and using previous proofs to create data and label proofs for customer approval and production. The Digital Print Associate will also prepare print templates for high speed drop on demand printing. The Digital Print Associate will have business acumen and will need working knowledge of general end to end transaction card processes and how processes are or can be enabled by technology.

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock

• Ensure data integrity and program accuracy through quality assurance activities, troubleshooting, testing, and reporting of system maintenance.
• Use processes and systems in place to transform and prepare proofs and templates for production activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of data and programs.
• Work with Smurfit Westrock’s Tcard business segment to develop business cases for technology solutions.
• Gather and document business functional requirements for technology solutions.
• Address internal data processing issues as required.
• Research and understand industry best practices in technical and functional business areas to recommend and enable business processes, driving improvements in workflow and increasing business productivity.

What You Need To Succeed

• Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Internal client-facing engagement/working relationships.
• Strong printing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative problem‑solving skills, ability to listen to and understand needs across diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to do some heavy lifting.

• Preferred: Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Industry experience: Transaction cards (Tcards).
• Experience in graphic design or similar imaging software.
• Experience with barcode ICMA.
