Job summary

THE MAREK GROUP INC is seeking a capable operator for our Digital Roll-to-Roll press. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot the digital press to produce high-quality materials according to specs and delivery targets.

You will perform color matching, read job tickets, and document diagnostics. Collaboration with prepress, press operators, and management is required, along with maintaining equipment and departmental inventory.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma.
• Print industry experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to train for the role.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and troubleshoot Digital Roll-to-Roll Press.
• Perform color matching of supplied materials.
• Interpret, document and communicate diagnostic feedback to resolve issues.
• Read and understand job tickets.
• Complete necessary paperwork for each job.
• Communicate with prepress, press ops, customer service and management.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGAs a key member of the digital department, this position will set up and operate our Digital roll-to-roll press.Produce high quality product in the most efficient and cost-effective manner with attentiveness to customer specifications, delivery requirements, and production targets.WE’D BE JAZZED IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING TRAITSA mechanical aptitude.Experience running a Canon ProStream 2000Drive and high energy, combined with a commitment to accountability and integrity.Adaptability is a key asset for excelling in our fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.Setup, operate and troubleshoot Digital Roll-to-Roll Press.Perform color matching of supplied materials.Interpret, document and communicate diagnostic feedback from the equipment and act upon information to resolve production or maintenance issues.Ability to read and understand job tickets.Complete the necessary paperwork required for each job.Communicate effectively with prepress, press operators, customer service and management.Maintains all necessary equipment and performs monthly inventory on departmental itemsWE’D BE JAZZED IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING TRAITSWillingness and ability to work 2nd Shift hours (3PM to 11 PM CST)A mechanical aptitude.Experience running a Canon ProStream 2000Drive and high energy, combined with a commitment to accountability and integrity.Adaptability is a key asset for excelling in our fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Requires a high school diploma.
