Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and press capabilities.
• Skill in making precise press settings and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, and aligning images.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press and perform minor repairs.
• Carry out routine maintenance as recommended by manufacturers.
• Read job specs and determine appropriate press usage and materials.
