Job Purpose:

Job Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

The Digital Press Operator is responsible for:

• Coordinating files and printing files to Digital Press.
• Maintenance and General up keep of the equipment.
• Recording Material/Ink consumption and waste.
• Color correcting files as instructed.
• Ensuring that the proper hard count for each job is printed.
• Loading and unloading material to the machine.
• Maintaining accurate logs for production and down time errors.
• Communicating any problems to the proper Supervisor.
• Maintaining the highest possible Quality Control Skills:

Skills necessary for the function of this job are:

• Organization.
• Basic material, printing, and manufacturing knowledge.
• Mac skills, a plus including Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark.
• Knowledge of Safety regulations
• Grace under pressure

Good communication skills are also necessary, including the ability to speak and understand English. Extended knowledge of manufacturing and printing experience are a major plus but not a requirement to perform these job functions. ·

Experience:
