Job summary

Allied Printing Services, Inc. in Manchester, CT, is seeking a Digital Press Operator to join our production team. You will set up, operate, and maintain Canon, Xeikon, and Komori digital presses to produce high‑quality materials meeting exact customer specifications.

The role requires technical precision, color accuracy, and strong attention to detail. You will monitor runs, adjust registration and color, interpret layouts, perform basic maintenance, and log production data for each job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4 months of experience operating digital press machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Digital Press Operator

The Digital Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Canon, Zeikon, and Komoridigital pressesto produce vibrant, high-quality printed materials that meet exacting customer specifications. This role requires technical precision, color accuracy, and a passion for digital print innovation. The operator monitors print quality, registration, and consistency throughout each job, making adjustments to achieve flawless results. What You’ll Do:

• Operate high-quality digital printing presses to meet customer specifications.

• Monitor print runs to ensure consistent color, registration, and image quality.

• Interpret layouts, check paper stock, and assist in overall press setup (sheet size, coating, blankets, etc.).

• Refill and adjust paper trays to maintain efficient production flow.

• Load substrates onto the press and accurately record production data.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning on press equipment.

• Troubleshoot and adjust as needed to ensure top-quality output.

• Conduct quality checks throughout each run and present finished samples for approval.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of press operation.

• Good knowledge of color and excellent visual acuity.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4monthsof experience operating digital press machines.

Physical Requirements:

Standing 50% | Lifting up to 35-75 lbs. lbs. repeatedly | Carrying 25-50 lbs. | Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.

• Shift Available & Schedule: 1st shift (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
