Allied Printing Services, Inc. in Manchester, CT is seeking a Digital Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Canon, Zeikon, and Komori presses to produce high-quality printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-quality digital printing presses to meet customer specifications.
• Monitor print runs for consistent color, registration and image quality.
• Interpret layouts, check stock, and assist in press setup (sheet size, coating, blankets).
• Refill and adjust paper trays to maintain production flow.
• Record production data and perform routine maintenance on presses.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure top-quality output.
• Conduct quality checks and present finished samples for approval.

Digital Press Operator

The Digital Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Canon, Zeikon, and Komoridigital pressesto produce vibrant, high-quality printed materials that meet exacting customer specifications. This role requires technical precision, color accuracy, and a passion for digital print innovation. The operator monitors print quality, registration, and consistency throughout each job, making adjustments to achieve flawless results. What You’ll Do:

• Operate high-quality digital printing presses to meet customer specifications.

• Monitor print runs to ensure consistent color, registration, and image quality.

• Interpret layouts, check paper stock, and assist in overall press setup (sheet size, coating, blankets, etc.).

• Refill and adjust paper trays to maintain efficient production flow.

• Load substrates onto the press and accurately record production data.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning on press equipment.

• Troubleshoot and adjust as needed to ensure top-quality output.

• Conduct quality checks throughout each run and present finished samples for approval.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4monthsof experience operating digital press machines.

Physical Requirements:

Standing 50% | Lifting up to 35-75 lbs. lbs. repeatedly | Carrying 25-50 lbs. | Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.

• Shift Available & Schedule: 1st shift (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
