Job summary

Summary/Purpose of the Position

The Digital Press Operator I will work in a commercial printing company and operate digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials. This role will communicate with the press Lead to ensure that all jobs are completed on schedule.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities

• Set up and operate digital printing equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the equipment
• Ensure that printed materials meet quality standards
• Communicate with the press Lead regarding machine status and maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with team members to ensure that all jobs are completed on schedule
• Follow safety regulations and procedures
• Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of digital printing experience as an operator
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report any issues to the press Lead
• Ability to work effectively as a team player
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address equipment issues
• Attention to detail to ensure that printed materials meet quality standards

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
