Job summary

RRD is seeking a Digital Press Operator Apprentice for 1st shift in Wisconsin. You will set up, operate, and maintain multiple press units and participate in make-ready tasks to meet quality specs. The role includes a rotating schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next) with weekend work on alternate weeks.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, with potential overtime and shift differential. Must have knowledge of offset printing, be able to read job specs, and perform routine

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and determine press usage.
• Ability to adjust controls and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Skill in using precision tools to mount/align printing plates.
• Experience with press maintenance and part replacement.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks and inspect plates/cylinders for quality.
• Make color corrections and ensure images meet specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on presses.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance recommendations.
