Job summary

TBN is seeking a Digital Platform Metadata Entry specialist to manage metadata and content distribution for our DP platforms. The role combines on-site presence with remote work options and focuses on coordinating across departments to ensure timely distribution of content.

Ideal candidates will excel in Excel, metadata workflows, and cross-functional communication while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines in a broadcast distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient typing at 35-40 words per minute.
• MS Office proficiency required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Organized with ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal guidance.
• Experience in a relevant position is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Digital Platform (DP) content distribution and metadata entry.
• Prepare content for distribution to exciting new platforms.
• Verify accuracy once files have been transferred and are active.
• Distribute, input, and provide metadata to newly added platforms.
• Work with Excel spreadsheets and episodic metadata.
• Maintain and update files in anticipation of requests.
• Create and manage files that are distributed to various platforms, as well as in-house.
• Add and update content including images, audio, video, and metadata files.
• Help build positive relationships with external parties and in-house teams.
• Schedule and organize meetings related to DP preparation and transfers.
• Keep accurate and updated records of programs and schedules that are distributed.
• Communicate with outside vendors and contracted personnel.
• Support other departments with scheduling and programs coordination.
• This new position will report to the Operations Manager in Tustin, CA

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Digital Platform (DP) content distribution and metadata entry.
• Prepare content for Distribution for exciting new platforms.
• Verify accuracy once files have been transferred and are active.
• Distribute, input, and provide metadata to newly added platforms.
• Work well within the Broadcast industry, including television & digital distribution of metadata and content to DPs.
• Working with Excel spreadsheets and episodic metadata.
• Maintain and update files in anticipation of requests.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor, with a willingness to help others.
• Create and manage files that are distributed to various platforms, as well as in-house.
• Adding and updating changing content, including images, audio, video, and metadata files.
• Help build positive relationships with external parties, as well as in-house.
• Schedule and organize meetings as they pertain to DP preparation and transfers.
• Keep accurate and updated records of programs and schedules that are distributed.
• Communication with outside vendors and contracted personnel.
• Support other departments with scheduling and programs coordination.
