Job summary

Pinnaql is seeking a Digital Plant Engineer in the United States. You will be embedded in Project Automation Teams, translating process needs into digital requirements while ensuring regulatory alignment and robust data integrity.

The role blends process control, MES integration, and platform oversight, with travel to Indiana and flexible remote work. You will collaborate closely with Process Engineering, PTO, and the end users to deliver scalable digital solutions that support manufacturing

Qualifications

7+ years of API/bulk manufacturing Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
Delivery of large automation projects in the pharmaceutical sector.
Experience with Aveva PI, MES, and DeltaV Batch DCS preferred.
Strong GMP/regulatory knowledge and computer system validation principles.

Responsibilities

Bridge Business, Technology and Data architectures for the building.
Represent the automation function in Digital Plant discussions and forums.
Contribute to Digital Strategy and Digital Plant Use Cases for the project.
Contribute to Data Architecture for the project and lead data flow mapping.
Support delivery of the site-level data infrastructure (Aveva PI, Logmate, etc.).
Contribute to overall automation philosophy for the program.
Interface with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet business needs.
