Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group in Sacramento is seeking a Digital Operations Supervisor to lead a coordinator team responsible for live event workflows across web, mobile, iOS, Android, and connected TV. You will ensure streaming health, incident response, and post-event QA to support Bally Sports’ digital platform.

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree, strong attention to detail and organization, and the ability to work nights/weekends. Broadcast or streaming background is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage coordinator staff for live event workflows across web, mobile, iOS, Android, and connected TV devices.
  • Use CMS and LiveOps tools to start, stop, and extend live streaming events and monitor performance.
  • Escalate live event issues to support/engineering, gather logs, and communicate incidents.
  • Lead incident management and communication for high-priority streaming issues for Bally Sports and partners.
  • Create and manage live event schedules and daily assignments for coordinator team.
  • Maintain SOPs and documentation for operational processes and QA testing ahead of product releases.

We are seeking a Digital Operations Supervisor to join our team!

Responsibilities
  • Manage coordinator staff in execution of processes and workflows for live event and monitoring and quality control across a variety of platforms including web, mobile web, iOS, Android, and connected television devices.
  • Use Content Management System and LiveOps Tool to perform operational tasks including starting, stopping, and extending live streaming events.
  • Prompt escalation of live event issues to necessary support and engineering teams, aiding in incident reproduction, collection of details and logs, and ticket creation and communication for both Bally Sports and integrated partners.
  • Lead incident management and communication for high priority streaming issues for both Bally Sports and integrated partners.
  • Actively monitor the streaming health of live events and device streaming performance for both Bally Sports and integrated partners.
  • Create and manage live event schedules and daily assignments for coordinator team.
  • Manage daily content operation processes for coordinators including image replacement, postgame highlight creation, and stat overlays.
  • Ensure coordinators are completing pre-event checklists and app/website reviews to proactively identify issues on all digital platforms.
  • Maintain, update, or create documentation and SOPs for operational processes.
  • Work with customer service to identify, elevate, and document trending technical issues through customer support tickets and social media feedback.
  • Address business issues related to Bally Sports digital products and collaborate with appropriate teams regarding any digital product issues.
  • Manage quality assurance testing and verify consistent collection of data ahead of product releases and updates, testing, documenting, and escalating any product issues as it relates to the consumer experience of all digital products.
  • Watch and monitor live Bally Sports events as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as needed or assigned.
Qualifications

  • Availability to work nights and weekends with flexibility around live game schedules.
  • Background in broadcast media or digital streaming preferred.
