About the role :

The Associate Director, Global Digital Operational Web Service & Process Innovation is responsible for leading innovation in external-facing web-related operational services, products, and processes within the GPD-DDT digital operations team. This role drives strategic advancements in operational efficiency, quality, and customer experience for GPD web assets, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations while maximizing business impact.

How you will contribute:

Strategic Innovation & Digital Transformation

Define and execute a roadmap for web-related operational service innovation, aligning with evolving business needs and digital transformation goals.

Lead the strategic consolidation and optimization of existing web properties, driving efficiencies and improved user experiences.

Partner with cross-functional teams to assess emerging technologies and process innovations that enhance digital operations.

Operational Performance & Optimization

Develop and implement enterprise-level strategies to improve operational performance, with a focus on quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.

Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to identify trends, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Establish best-in-class operational frameworks that enhance scalability, agility, and digital service excellence.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure all digital operations comply with internal policies, industry standards, and global regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, security).

Lead risk assessment initiatives, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks to maintain compliance and governance.

Oversee strategic partnerships with external vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and service excellence.

Drive cost efficiency and contract optimization, holding vendors accountable for performance, delivery, and innovation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, aligning digital operations strategies with overarching business objectives.

Foster cross-functional collaboration among global teams, ensuring seamless execution of digital initiatives and stakeholder engagement.

Leadership & Team Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, building digital expertise and operational excellence across the organization.

Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, enabling teams to drive impact at scale.

What you bring to Takeda:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Advanced degree preferred.

Extensive experience in digital operations, process innovation, and technology leadership within a global or multi-national organization.
