Job description

DNEA will be well versed in tradecraft associated with cyber discovery or sustainment analysis of identified Advanced Persistent Threats (APT). DNEA must have relevant experience with SIGINT and AMOD. DNEA must be fluent with stored comms and passive resources. DNEA will have the ability to understand raw traffic affiliated with metadata and the ability to leverage appropriate resources for development, sustainment, or attribution of data. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design, development, or analysis. In addition, it may also include engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance is required (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
• Ten (10) years of experience and an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics). Relevant coursework must include algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (e.g. calculus, discrete mathematics).

• Eight (8) years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics). Relevant coursework as above.

• Six (6) years of experience and a Master's Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics). Relevant coursework as above.

• Four (4) years of experience and a Doctorate Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics). Relevant coursework as above.

Relevant Experience

• Experience must be in computer or information systems design, development, or analysis. It may also include engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration. Completion of military training such as the 24‑week Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) will count as six months of experience.
• Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain equivalent coursework to a Computer Science major.

Compensation will vary according to factors such as government contract rates, education, relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications; and geographic location. Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
